1. Brief Introduction

RoC was founded by Hong in a Ragnarok Server called DiscoveryRO in 2005. Dictatorship is how we roll. PvP is everything to us, we love it. We've been through a lot - betrayal, hated, you name it we've probably gone through it. Hell, we have gone through being the top guild to the weakest due to betrayal. We have a mentality of owning in outnumbered PvP, sometimes it works out, sometimes it doesn't. We try to be a small guild, but in some games, you just can't be small. Some of you may know us as rude immature players, but that's honestly how we have fun. We don't care what you outsiders think, we only care about having fun. That's it. If you can't take a joke, don't talk to us. We're not going to sit back and watch. We'll make things happen.

2. Rules

These are rules that are generated through many years of leadership. Each and every eligible members have the limited rights start a vote against a rule. The rule can be altered, removed or changed if 75% of members agree through the voting booth on our forums. To be eligible, the duration of your membership must be longer than 2 years and must provide a reason of how it will benefit the guild. Abusing this system will result your eligible status removed.

Rules apply where applicable. Breaking any of the following rule could result a 3 strike warning or your membership to be removed and permanently banned from RoC. If you have close friends in the guild, they will be provided a notification that you are kicked and they are given a 3 day decision to stay within the guild. If they fail to reply to the notification, their membership will also be removed.

I don't care what you do outside of the guild. You take full responsibility for your actions.

2.1 General

1. No botting.
2. Do not leave the guild. You must provide a good reason for leaving. Leaving the guild for jokes or selfish claim will be not tolerated.
3. You cannot have any characters in any other rival guilds. Do not let me catch you.
4. Send me a notification if you go inactive for a long period of time.
5. Respect each and every member. Female or male, both are treated equally.

2.2 Guild Chat

1. Limited guild drama. Any direct harsh attack will not be tolerated unless the person attacked know its for jokes and does not mind.
2. English only. Any other languages must be extremely brief, please stick to PM.

2.3 Guild Party

It's up to the party leader. If the party leader does not specify looting rules or guild drama occurs, the following applies:

1. Need before greed. Ninja looting will not be tolerated.
2. No looting for your alternate characters unless party agrees.
3. Greed items worth over 500k must be sold and split equally among guild members.

Take a note that if the party leader is not in the guild, rules do not apply. You take full responsibility for your actions. Hurting your guild members in anyway will not be tolerated.

2.4 Guild Raid Party

How loots are distributed will be mentioned, but incase if we forget. The following rule applies if the raid leader is a guild member:

1. If the leader or an officer is present, raid leadership must be transfered to him/her.
2. Loot settings: Master loot. If there is no Master loot and the item is not bind on pick-up, it goes to the leader or raid leader.
3. Item will be distrubuted based on overall guild participation and the item quality itself.
Example - If you've been in every guild PvE raid and a PvE item drops and you need it. It is very likely you will get the item. However, if you do get the item. Your priority for the next item will be lowered unless we know for sure you will benefit most from it. Yes, this means that if you've contributed TONS, you will be decked out in gears because we need your participation.
4. If no one needs the item, it will be sold and stored to the guild stash if one exist. Otherwise, give to leader.

Guild money is mainly used in whatever ways that the guild can benefit from.

We don't really have a lot of rules to be honest. Rules usually apply if guild drama occurs. Items are distributed based on how well it will benefit us as a guild, not you. If you're active and you contribute a lot, especially PvP. I guarantee you that you will be geared. However, we have a list of priorities. All leaders and officers are our main priority in terms of gearing them up unless they are inactive and unable to contribute to the guild. It's pointless to have gearless leaders on the battlefield.

3. Recruitment

We tend to post our recruitment thread on various game forums to screw around. But we do end up recruiting a few so we have new faces to chat with. Most of our recruits happens exclusively in-game. We take applications, although, they're usually a waste of time. Almost everyone provides false information. Getting in is easy, but will you be able to stay? Who knows! If you're interested, check our forums to see if we're recruiting for any game.

4. Requirements

  • Must have Ventrilo
  • Must be able to listen to orders and act quickly
  • Must be active and located in North America. If you're outside of NA, you must be active during our timezone.
